To book your IELTS test
Booking your IELTS test, result collection, requesting remark and other IELTS processes
MOD IELTS currently has over 25 test venues across Nigeria. You can either register via this website or at our offices at Ogudu GRA Lagos, Festac, Surulere, Abuja, Port-Harcourt, Benin, Ibadan, Akure, Abeokuta, Kano, and Enugu.

After registration is done, payment can be made via transfer, deposit at the bank, or POS at any of our offices.

After Payment Confirmation
After you have been confirmed (this usually takes 2-3working days), you will be required to wait till a week to the test date to receive the necessary information needed for the test.
The test details includes: Procedures To Manage Coronavirus, Tips And Information Booklets For Candidates, Webinars, IELTS Prepare, Ielts Speaking Test Details, And IELTS Test Venue Details.
These details are sent in batches depending on when the schedule is concluded.
When you have been scheduled for your speaking test, you will receive the date, time, and venue.
Candidates are advised to acknowledge the mail by being present at the venue as there are no slots for a reschedule. At the venue, once you are called upon, you are required to cloak your belongings in a bag and go into the speaking test room with just your international passport.
You should also bring the same passport which you used during registration.
Regarding your Speaking Test
The speaking test is done on a different day and takes about 20 minutes and is conducted by an IELTS examiner via video call or face to face while the listening, reading, and writing test are done on the same day. The test venue details will be sent to your registered email address.
It is important to note
Any unauthorized item brought to the test location will be deposited at the candidate’s belonging area. We would advise that all valuables – including mobile phones, wristwatches, and jewellery (wedding rings and bands, bracelets, anklets, necklace, earrings), headgear/scarfs, sunglasses, and any other electronic device be left at home.
Also note that candidates will not be allowed to enter the test room with any heavy clothing including; Sweaters, Jackets, suits, etc.
On Result Collection
Results for the paper-based test are out after 13days while the computer-based test is out after 5days. To collect the Test Report Form (TRF), you either pick it up at the Test Centre, send a third party to pick it up on your behalf, or request a courier delivery service.
If you must visit the office, candidates are expected to bring along the international passport to the Test Centre/Test Centre liaison offices (see here for contact details)
Third-party must come along with: A typed letter of authorization with the candidate’s full name (as on the International Passport document), and test date all clearly stated. Also stated in the letter should be the full name and ID type of the third party.
The letter should be duly signed by the candidate, which must match the signature on International Passport and the authorized third party must bring an original VERIFIABLE ID Card such as a national ID card, voters’ card, or international passport for our records. He/she must also bring along the candidate’s international passport to enable us to release TRF.
Candidates can also get their results via courier by following the link, to fill the courier form and make payment afterwards. The evidence of payment will serve as proof to enable us to process your request.
Need a Re-mark?
The test report form scores are a reflection of a candidate’s performance on the IELTS test as certified by our independent IELTS examiners. If a candidate is not satisfied by the scores, they may request a remark for either one or all components of the test. The remark is not free and costs N27,000 to process. There is a positive and negative side to the outcome of a remark. If the score is changed, the candidate gets a refund while if it is unchanged, the candidate gets no refund.
It takes 3-5 weeks to process a remark.
Our Refund Policy
A candidate is eligible for a refund if the remark outcome is changed or if there is a request for cancellation at least 5 weeks to the test date. In cases like a cancellation, the candidate will not be given a full refund (25% is deducted as an administrative fee).

In case you want to cancel your IELTS test booking
Request for cancellation or postponement of your IELTS test must be made strictly 5 weeks before the test date via email or in person only. Telephone cancellation or postponement will not be accepted.
